How can I learn guitar chords quickly?
So I started playing guitar in December and I just recently got a chord chart with all the chords and I want to learn them. What’s the quickest/most effecient way to learn them?
Yeah it shows the fingering and which strings to mute and all that.
I would suggest that you buy a song book -( with songs you would really like to learn to play) that has the chords and maybe even chord charts included with the songs. That way you will meet with success quicker by being able to play an entire song in a relatively short period of time. As you do this you will be learning more and more chords. And you will begin to see chord patterns. Before you know it you’ll even be able to anticipate what chords are needed for songs without charts!
you have to practice alot. just play simple songs and chord progressions. it gets easier the more you practice. does the chord charts you have also tell you what fingers to use? that would be useful also.

Do you know how to read the chord charts? If you don’t then you can learn from the internet or some books. If you know how to read them then just practice them over and over again! Try different progressions until you can change chords easily.
